Terre di Bruca – Syrano 2019

Syrano is, as guessed, syrah from the Siclian outpost of Castelmmare del Gulfo on the golden south coast. The maritime influence really brings a floral component and manages the peppery syrah for brighter and brighter times. That said the dark fruit and spicy edging is not to be forgotten and so meaty and charred is still part of the solution. But it’s got a level of elegance that speaks to the nature of the terroir for the grape.
